Was hoping we would get the nano lock as the solid release

I think the Nano Lock would sell more because of the Nano name
-
I see the navy and orange but I wonder what the color "electric" looks like..... :-\ :P
On Edit: I looked it up on the Storm site and it looks to be a bright aqua color.

TBH I'm turned off by NRG anything. Dies too quick.
R2x now.....Were cooking! Alpha has some good feedback with the GI cover...

Yeah, I was expecting the Nano Lock as well but I guess that might have marginalized the Alpha Crux too soon. I'll be surprised if there's a real clean fit for this between the Alpha Crux and the Lock though. Probably quite a bit of overlap one way or the other.

Sorry guys, but I'll take a VG over a VG Nano any day.
-
I would never get to throw this beast around here lol.

If you didn't catch my drift, I'm saying Sure Lock over Nano Lock.
-
Is it accurate to say that the only R2X solid that was a hit for Storm was the original VG?

Marvel and Dimension were pretty good. The Optimus Solid is the only ball I can remember not boating very well on the market. Anyonw else have a few to name?

For the life of me, I have not seen anyone, anywhere, scoring great with a Nano anything......to the point where I'd say, "I'd like to see a certain ball, with a Nano cover on it."
What is it that folks like about the Nanos? I have bowled with folks in league and tournaments throwing Nano covered pieces and they don't react anymore spectacularly or special than any other ball being used! at least from my observations.

Agreed.

In my area the Virtual Gravity Nano was a huge seller. A ton of high scores and inflated averages were linked to that. It seems like we get a good amount more of oil around here, especially comparing to other somewhat close houses, so that might play a factor.
Lots of people loved the !Q Tour Nano as well. The Haywire wasn't as popular but those that had/have it were fans. As for the Hyper Cell, that one didn't seem to take. Was a surprise to me given how touted it was around the web (not talking about staffers/Storm sites). Can't think of another Nano coverstock off the top of my head.
Just depends on your local conditions. I don't think any of those balls were particularly amazing in their own right, but they worked well for those who used them.
