In reading your review, it seems to me that because you had to add surface to the ball to increase it's effectiveness, it lends more credence to the original design of the solid Fight, which has a matte cover. I own a Fight and found this ball extremely effective on a couple of sport shots. So, because the Street Fight is 3000 sheen, this means the ability to control that down lane flip is paramount to a person's carry, and the effectiveness of using this ball.
That core is massive and adding it to a pearl cover does not bode well for controllability overall. This may be a case where this ball is better served with a Rico drill, if you are really desiring controllability. Otherwise, only natural fireballers, and people who roll 18mph and higher should love this piece!
