Surface Adjustment For Pyro
« on: February 10, 2007, 06:57:16 AM »
I have a new pyro and had it drilled for a tamer reaction.  When I got it before I threw it once I polished up to 2000.  When this ball starts to hook to doesn't stop...absolutely crushing the pocket.  Unfortunately it is so strong to the pocket I am leaving the 8 pin and sometimes the nine pin.  I am thinking of polishing it back to 1500 to burn up more energy in the front.  Any suggestions or people having similar problems.

I was having the same problem with the Pyro at 1500...too strong of a reaction, lots of taps, even through the nose leaving some "big uglies" on occasion.  I took it back to 1000 grit with a light polish and its a different ball...a much tamer, more "controlable" reaction.
