If you are truly on heavy oil, you do not want a skid/snappy reaction!  On oil, you want a ball that can get into a roll so that is has a chance to hook enough to generate angle to the pocket and then roll through the pindeck rather than deflecting.  The Attitude Shift will give you the most backend reaction for higher volume shots where there is enough friction to open up the back part of the lane.  For shots that require more roll and less backend hook, the Special Agent is a better choice.  For a flatter pattern, I'd go with the Special Agent.  For a heavier volume house shot, Attitude Shift.

I completely agree with Dan.  My league is first shift, and quite thick and is 41 feet long I've been told; pretty good for a house shot.  This guy has an Attitude Shift, and it gives him a great look.  He's a stroker, straight up the boards, and this ball carries with serious authority.  Not only that, but once the lanes do open up, all he does is take a few boards to the right and bellys the ball a bit.  Very impressive piece as far as heavy oil and backend reaction go.
