For those who owns a 2nd Dimension at which grit does this ball works great for you ? I got a used one from another bowler and will be sending it in for re-con. Would like to heard some suggestion from you guys ! Thanks !

If you have a Hy-Road I would strongly suggest altering the surface of the 2nd Dimension otherwise they will overlap a lot.

I keep my Hy-Road at 4000 and my 2nd at 2000.  They have similar (not identical) roll shapes.  At 2000 my 2nd is a good med-heavy ball and the Hy-Road at 4000 is a good medium to lighter ball.

I hated the OOB finish on my Second Dimension.  It was completely oil-allergic and kicked left the instant it found friction.  I hit it with a 2000 abralon pad to knock off the shine, then repolished it myself with just a light haze by hand.  Now it's a monster on medium to medium-heavy conditions as long as I don't try to cross too many boards.  I'm better off switching to something more skid/snap in that case.

I left mine at OOB and it works great for me. I bowl on medium to lighter oil for the THS at our lanes. The ball even works really well for when the oil starts to carrydown.

I had to knock the factory shine off it with a 2000 abr pad. I have alternated between 2000 and 4000 with success.

Factory shine was too squirty for me.

I have two and both rolled some kind of good out of the box. For me, I've noticed that with less shine on it, the ball reads a little early on a THS.

Mine OOB went way too long and 4000 it rolled too early. I suggest a low grit with polish over it

1 2nd dimension is 2000 abralon & does wonders and another 2nd done with a worn 1000 abralon with reacta shine. Also, got one hy road pin stacked on grip line 1000 with reacta shine and 1 hy road stronger layout 2000 abralon. These surfaces really matches up well to me.

Thanks everybody for the suggestions...I have the 2nd Dimension at 2000 and it rolling good, a smooth arc to the pocket..Used this ball when my Dimension is over and it is also the go to ball at one of the league house.
