Need a recommendation
« on: July 26, 2007, 01:31:23 PM »
I need something to replace my Spit Fire, which will be between my Black Widow and Tropical Storm. My PAP is 3 1/2 over and 1/4th up. I was thinking of the T-Road Pearl or Thunderstruck Pearl. Any suggestions?

Thunderstruck Pearl would be too strong.

T-Road Pearl.

I thought the T-Road Pearl (R2S pearl cover) would be stronger than the Thunderstruck Pearl (reactor pearl).

Why not try to find another Spit Fire? If not, I'd say T-Road Pearl

T-Road Pearl is stronger than the Thunderstruck Pearl. There's a pretty noticable difference just by the core/coverstock strength of both. I'd say T-Road Pearl as well. Good luck!

I've got the same question as n00dlejester...why not another Spit Fire?  Was there something about the reaction that you didn't like?  Was there a different shape, drilling, etc.?

It's not that I didn't like it, just wanted to try something new.

I can totally understand wanting to try something new...but there still has to be something about the ball reaction that's pushing you towards another ball?

Regardless I would think that a T-Road Solid with some polish on it would fit the bill.

I got it from a friend and don't like the layout. The span is also too small, but it's already on it's second drill so I don't want to plug it. It doesn't have a great reaction with this layout, not saying it wouldn't work with a different one, but want to try something else.

T-Road Pearl, it'll read the lane a little earlier than the Spit Fire and should give you a more consistent reaction, I know mine does.
