Is the Fast equal to the Street Rod Pearl

Is the new Fast the same thing as the Street Rod Pearl except for the Coverstock? I've read the Fast digs in pretty good for a pearl. I wanted to pick up a Street for when the lanes get tight and dicey. But if it digs in like the Fast then?? Thanks for your help.

The Fast uses a stronger coverstock over the same core. So for the same bowler, with the same drilling, you should get a litte more hook and a little more backend over the Street Rod Pearl.
