FIGJAM - Hy-Road
« on: September 03, 2009, 04:13:21 AM »
I bought a Hy_road earlier this year. I really have liked the ball. It gives a great look medium to medium-dry lanes. Last season I had a stretch of 10 weeks in a row throwing 700 or better with it. And now, last night was the first night of league this year:

300 - 278 - 279 = 857  (33 of 36 strikes)

This ball deserves the accolades it gets. Thank you Storm for producing great balls.

Great bowling! Unless your league is scratch, I hope they don't use the first night to establish averages (285.67).

LOL. We are a scratch league...I usually average about 230 so I usually don't bowl in leagues that aren't scratch.

Thanks everyone for their thoughts....I never thought I would see a night like this, in the past, I never seemed to carry for 3 games straight. Biggest problem is now I have nowhere to go but down, lol.

Wow.. great bowling there.. you need to update your profile though.. only says 817 .   I loved my Hy-Road too, although the ball reaction changed quite a bit after I had it cleaned up and resurfaced back to factory.  Now it's a lot less angular off the spot, much smoother.

Good shooten', Jorge!!  I've been looking at a Hy-Road & Reign combination myself...  Maybe soon.

Nice shooting sir!  I haven't shot nearly that high with mine but I love the reaction I get from it, great ball indeed.

Nice shooting Jorge!  The Hy-Road has been a pretty good ball for me as well.  Don't have any huge numbers like that with it, but 289-772 and an All Events Title with it.

What surface do you have yours at?  Mine was a little squirty OOB so I took it down to 4000 Abralon and ever since it's been a very nice piece.
