The Anarchy will be a few boards stronger than the Marvel Pearl. Also, the difference in cores between the 2 balls is something you will notice when throwing them.
The Marvel Pearl being a symmetrical tends to give more of a controlled arc look on the lanes. Don't get me wrong- this ball hooks, and hooks quite a bit. But, the overall shape is more of an arc which is more similar to some of the balls Roto Grip has out which are more rolly. Now, I have not thrown this piece, but have seen the ball in a few houses lately and that is my general observation with it.
Now the Anarchy is a strong asymmetrical pearl, which uses the Origin core, first used in the Invasion. This core does tend to be a little rolly, but is going to be stronger in the backend. The R3X pearl cover tends to go longer and is more angular on the backend.
Personally, I have found the Anarchy to work really well in medium-heavy oil. It's a great ball for me to go down to once the Nano burns up, usually after 1-2 games in certain houses I go to. Having tried a few different surfaces, the box finish works best for my game. However, the cover is versatile and you can adjust it to match your game.
In either case, both are good balls to work with from the guys in Utah. I think it just comes down to whether you want long and strong, or if you want more of a controlled look. There's only a few boards difference between them so it would probably not be that big of a deal on most lane conditions.
