Thunderstrucks are GOLDEN!
« on: July 09, 2006, 11:58:42 AM »
I saw alot of guys at Eastern Regionals this weekend making both of these balls look great.  There was even a 300 in matchplay with the Thunderstruck Pearl.  Both seem even and arcy but the Purple one is noticably stronger in the midlane.  If the Purple one was at about a 2500 sheen they'd combat a ton of conditions together.  I can tell just by how pure the roll looks.  They definately have me interested.

I agree, saw many of these balls going down the lane at the High Roller. I drilled one myself. I think Chris Schlemer for laying out for me. Rolled pretty good too!! Very versatile ball. Lay it out weak or strong and its still a really good ball!!

I REALLY want to try the purple one out, and put a tame drilling on it for my sport shot league, or even possibly teen masters. I have a feeling these balls might be some of those little diamonds that slide under the radar.

mvpbowler sent you a pm, yes i have both thunderstrucks i actually like the pearl better both are very good balls. They handle oil pretty well for shiny balls and being midline balls, i think anything with reactor covers anymore are very safe bets.
