I've been fortunate to be able to get every new ball I want. Over time, I have come to the conclusion that my score suffers due to all the experimentation. I bowl at several different houses and they all have their quirks, but I think I would be much better served just going back to the staples...
New arsenal for 2023 and beyond:
6 ball -
Proton Physix
Altered Reality
Phase 2
Zen
iQ Tour
Hyroad Pearl
when 9 ball add -
Infinite Physix
iQ Emerald
Pitch Black
I feel like that would get me through most lane surfaces and conditions I would encounter, including the occasional wood lanes. Thoughts?

Everybody's different. I always bring 4 balls to league, switch 'em up depending on the center. Personally, I think 6 is way too many for a league night. Now tournaments, I can see having 6 on hand, especially if you don't know the house.

Simplification can be good, especially for regular league nights.
I'm bowling a fresh house shot league for the first time in years this season, after week 1 it mainly looks like I'll be throwing my Zen or X2. I'll probably rotate a 3rd ball depending on the opponent week to week

I guess 6/9 balls might be simplification for some, but I'm with DrBob on this. I only take 4 to any league, including my sport shot league, and one of those is a plastic spare ball. Unless you are speed dominant or see a lot of volume, your top three are massive overkill to me.

To clarify, I only take 3 to league nites. One house is a challenge type league where we change the shot 1/2 way thru. The other is a beer league where you can make anything work.

Typically what I look for with league or a tournament for 6
High performance asym solid cover/surface
High performance or upper mid performance asym pearl/shiny
Mid performance sym solid/surface
Mid performance sym pearl/shiny
Lower performance ball for drier conditions
plastic spare ball.
With that i fell good on almost anything I come across
