You do have 2 other options.
1. Adjust your delivery with more ball speed, less revs, moving deeper to find more head oil, change you tilt and/or rotation, and/or use a more end over end release to reduce the backend and add control.
2. The next thing you can do to use this ball on lighter oil: use a polish with a slip agent in it. Such polishes make the ball go longer, reduce both the overall hook and the backend, making them more controllable and useful on less oil than that for which they were intended.
Among the slip agent polishes I know of that do work are Valentino;s UFO, Neo-Tac's Control-It and Powerhouse's Delayed Reaction.
These polishes have what is called a "slip agent". It usually works by blocking the "pores" of the coverstock reducing the ability to absorb oil. For resins, this affects them the way I described above.
To restore the coverstock to be useful on its original condition, you need to sand it with something like 500 grit and then repolish it back to factory specs.
That said, if you're not capable of doing #1, I also recommend you get a ball intended to handle this lesser oil you are now seeing and save the TD for when you see more oil again. This will also enable you to build an arsenal for better flexibility.
