Storm Recovery drill sheets.
« on: December 22, 2003, 04:31:21 AM »
I need to know if anyone has an original Recovery drill sheet.  I browsed Storm's website and failed to find any "retired ball" info area.  If someone would have one of these, please either e-mail or fax me a copy.  I would like to used a "stacked leverage" type of drilling with medium length and maximum backend.  I bowl on a THS with no out-of-bounds with the hand I put on the ball.  Please, any feedback would be appreciated.

Happy Holidays,

John

John,

If you want a "stacked leverage" type of layout, put the pin 3 3/8 inches from your axis point with the MC2 straight down below.  Don't worry about where the CG falls.  3 3/8 is the "leverage" point for the weight block to be in, or where the weight block is at it's most dynamic imbalance.  This will give you the most flare, and usually most hook from a ball, your mileage may vary.

You will probably need an extra hole, 6" over on a line from the center of your span through the cg.  If you want the most early roll, put the hole on your axis point.

BTW, Trauma Recovery is a great ball, shot 300 with two different ones, see my reviews!

Hope this helps ya.....
