Storm Bolwing Bags
« on: May 10, 2011, 04:50:59 AM »
My 10 year old son and I just had two Storm Streamline bowling bags fail and they are both less than 8 months old.     They both broke in the same place right where the handle frame goes into a plastic frame holder near the wheels.

Of course Storm offered to replace them for me under warranty but I am a little leary about getting the same bags again after these two failed.

The storm tech support guy mentioned that the Rolling Thunder Line was better built than the Streamline Line.  Anybody out shed any light based on your experiences?

Thanks

MK

I have a Streamline bag, that is 5 years young and still going strong, thats after 2 trips to Reno and numerous other venues, I can't think of a better bag.

Rolling Thunder is a good/durable bag if you decide to go that route.  Have had mine for

several yrs now w/ no problems.

x2 ... Rolling Thunder is a very good bag as stated below.  Well constructed with plenty space for accessories. FWIW, I've a 6, 4 and inline 3 (all Rolling Thunder).  Only thing to break was the clasp (holds top and bottom bag together when stacked) on my 6 ball roller.  Called tech support and they took care of me without a problem!  Good people over there!

The Rolling Thunder is worth every penny extra that you pay vs. the Streamline bags. Rarely, if ever, do we have a customer with a problem with theirs. I just tell people to save for an extra month if needed to pay the difference.

Another Rolling Thundar fan here. I have the four-ball roller and it's a great bag - sturdy construction, sturdy wheels, lots of pockets!
