First post, been lurking on here for months.
I just started bowling last year around this time, and my first ball was a Storm Lucid. The past year has been full of trials and tribulations, lots of open bowl time, and plenty of help videos.
I think I have progressed decently, and recently joined my fathers bowling team. After two quarters, I have a 171 average and a 239 high game. I don't throw very fast, around 12 mph, and I have average at best rotation on the ball.
I have been looking for a new ball to help cope with heavy oil conditions. The Lucid I have does ok, but I have to play too far inside with heavy oil and end up leaving a lot of 10 pins. It is drilled with the pin slightly below and to the right of the ring finger. I tried a Byte and loved it, that had the pin slightly above the ring finger. I thought maybe polishing my Lucid could mimic the great back-end the Byte had, but now I just have a ball that has even less movement.
I want to stay in the Storm/Rotogrip line up since they use our software to design balls. (Silly, but we all have our moments) I originally thought the Marvel-S was the way to go, but now have started looking at the Hyper Cell. I am just looking for some input. Sorry for the book, and if I can provide any other info to help out let me know.
Thanks
