Thanks Sir,
The reason I'm asking is cause I'm not sure if it's worth getting the Hybrid if I have the pearl already. The breeze has 3000 under snake oil - didn't like the OOB. This 3k/SO allows me more length with later backend move. Some times the ball looks like it'll forget the spot, but in the last minute, it makes a move left.
I was thinking maybe the breeze hybrid has some contrast to the reaction I see currently with my breeze.
Having both the Trop. Br. Hybrid and the Ride, both of which use the hybrid version of the Reactor coverstock, having had pearl versions with other cores a few years back & having had the solid version of the Tropical Breeze, I feel that this is one resin where the different variations, pearl, solid, hybrid are truly different from one another.
Keep in mind, that this result is possibly due to my release, which is both rev dominant, and slightly lower than average ball speed. No doubt, a person who is speed dominant will not see these differences. I think a person who has matched speed and revs and another who is rev dominant, will definitely see these differences.
Neither my Ride nor my Tropical Breeze Hybrid are flippy balls, for me, when used on the conditions for which they are designed. I could get my old Solid Tropical Breeze to flip when it was finished with 3000 grit + a super high gloss polish AND when used on a short oil pattern.
