Tropical Heat, Reign Supreme layout comparison
« on: December 04, 2010, 05:43:01 AM »
Dont have one, asking about one.

Have a tropical heat, pin over ring, 45 degrees, hole punched in it to keep it legal. I LOVE this ball, ball motion is fantastic. Its just not as strong as I need it to be on a fresh shot, was considering drilling a reign supreme, identical to it. Pin over ring 45 degrees etc. In theory, same cover, cores not do diff I should get the same, or close to ball reaction just much stronger.

opinions?

The covers are not the same. The RS has hybrid R2S while the Heat has hybrid reactor, which is weaker. The RG in the heat is lower rg and a little less diff than the RS. All things considered, with the same surface and layout, the RS will be somewhat stronger overall, definitely more backend.

If you are looking for something  a little stronger overall, I would suggest 2furious. If you want more backend, go with the RS.
