My sister is starting her school league soon and I was wondering what I should get her for her 2nd ball.  She throws now that many revolutions but she is learning slowly how to generate more power.  She needs a ball that has more back end action than what she has right now with her Track Heat.  The track heat will cover the lower parts of the house shot, i'm looking for something to be her 1-2 combo. The  pro shop suggested either the SureFire or the Spitfire for my sister.  What ball would you guys choose for her?  Shes going to be throwing 13 or 14 pounds.

Check out Storm's website.  They have clips on both bowls & read their specs.  The SureFire looks more versatile than the SpitFire & actually looks like it has more backend also.  Just my opinion, but probably couldn't go wrong w/either.  That's the great thing about Storm balls.  Good luck.

I don't have one but a teammate throws a Spitfire and the backend move is unreal. You didn't say how old she is but one thing to consider is a lot of balls under 14lbs. have a different weight block.
I coach an 11 year old girl and she throws 14lbs. with no problem.

I have a Track Heat and a SpitFire drilled the same way. My pro shop recommended it as a replacement for my Heat and they were right. It has a similar type of ball motion to the Heat but covers 3-5+ boards more overall. The SpitFire easily gets through the heads, has a late midlane read and a very hard arcing backend. If you want a similar reaction to the Heat but more ball a Spitfire could work.

I don't own a SureFire but have seen quite of few of them thrown lately. They appear to hook earlier than a SpitFire but are less on the backend. Overall it probably covers a few more boards than the SpitFire. I'd say the SureFire looks to be a very even rolling ball throughout the entire lane and is the most predictable ball I've seen in years. I've been impressed by it.
