Tropical Storm...what specs?
« on: November 30, 2007, 11:04:14 AM »
Hey guys, I'm looking to get a Tropical Storm and I was wondering what the best pin and top weight would be to give me a smooth rolling, but very clean through the fronts type of reaction.  I'm a stroker throwing about 15-16 mph and I need something for dry heads and late in tournaments.  Thanks for your help.

I'd say 2-3" and 2.5-3.0 top weight.

Anyone suggest something else? Or does this sound like the best?

1-2 inch pin. A tropical will get through the most burnt heads on its own and you want smooth rolling. I would go with a 1-2 becasue for that reaction coupled with how easy the Tropical is through the heads anyway, a pin below drill should be your choice. Pin above is going to be stronger on the backend. Yes, a Tropical has the ability to come around hard in the backend on some conditions.

TW, I personally have not notced much difference with them so, whatever they send you should work.
