Low Down on Storm cleaners/polish

My proshop is starting to sell some of the storm cleaners. What are the differences between all the cleaners and polishes they have. Also, which product is closest to Track's clean and dull?

I'm interested too.  I'm getting a spinner this summer and Buddies has several "starter" packs.  I'm leaning towards the Track package since it's got C&D in it, but I like my Storm-finished (?) DT Energy.  I'm thinking of picking up some Step 2 to give it a 1500-grit polish.

I can say that their polishes work really well especially with a ball spinner.  I use Reacta Shine and XTRA Shine a lot.  The 3-step polish looks really interesting to me also.  When I get a ball spinner I am definitely picking that up.

In terms of Clean N' Dull, I just use Clean N' Dull.  However, I do like the Storm polishes more than the track ones.

If Storm has something like Clean N' Dull I wouldn't mind trying it.  I know they have cleaners but I don't know if they get the oil nasties off of dull stuff as good as the Clean N' Dull can.

Another thing about C&D is that it will be available as an Ebonite product in the near future.  There were threads about it during the first few weeks after the buyout announcement.  Powerhouse Clean & Dull, I think.  Ebo decided that given the popularity of the stuff and the lack of anything equivalent in the Powerhouse lineup, they'd just rebrand it.  Dunno when it will be available, but Track's is still available online without a whole lotta work.

One is a cleaner, the other is a polish.  The Xtra Shine is a higher grit polish whereas the Reacta I believe is supposed to be the 1500 box finish you see on most of their stuff.  

I believe the Reacta shine says "cleaner & polish" though I always clean separately.  I really like to get all the belt marks and things off before I do any polishing.

Over the past year I've used just about all the Storm products some with better reactions than others. As far as anything like Clean N Dull, I sure haven't found it in the Storm line, not saying they are bad, just nothing like it I have used.

The Xtra Shine will, if used right, give a finish about 3500-4000 while the Reacta Shine is closer to 1500-2000. The Reacta Clean seemed to leave a 'tacky' finish more like the Track or Ebonite length extender products. The Moon Shine is a particle ball cleaner/polish but I've never had a lot of luck with this one. Maybe I apply to much pressure, maybe I'm looking for something it just isn't designed for, not sure. The best polish I've found is the Diamond Gloss, they don't make it anymore, but that stuff will put a shine like a snotty marble on a spare ball or any ball you want to slide on dry lanes.

On all Storm balls I work on, I only use the Storm products, except for the Clean N Dull, but not sure why, just do. They have good products, just what to use depends on what you want the ball to do. The one thing I have found, to much pressure will take the ball a lot "shinner" than you may want so be careful. That really applies to any of the products, but to be fair to anything, watch your pressure.

For me, I'm just not a huge fan of a cleaner/polish, I'd rather have one but not both combined, and keep in mind, that's just me.

Corrected grit finishes....

I agree with azguy.  I use the Storm products on Storm balls with good results.  I also use Clean-n-Dull.  I have not found anything made by any ball manufacturer that does what it does.  I don't have much left and wonder what Ebonite is going to do (or not do) with the product.

I am wondering what the difference is between Reacta Shine and Proacta Shine. I know one was made for proactive balls and one for reactive,but what is the difference in chemical composition?
