Tropical Surge made in Mexico ??
« on: December 23, 2019, 07:48:48 AM »
I noticed the other day, the Tropical Surge sitting on the wall at the pro shop has the Brunswick looking USBC serial number and thay little white "Made in Mexico" sticker on it.

I assume Brunswick is pouring these for Storm ?

Correct - from what I've heard there just isn't room in Utah to also run that line while keeping up with the demand for the rest of their lines.
Current Rotation:
PhysiX
Code X
Code Black
Axiom Pearl
Phaze III
Trend
IQ Tour

One company is so busy, it had to buy a new production facility AND outsource work to keep up with demands. The other company just purchased 4 major brands to fill a warehouse that their 3 current brands could not fill.

I am told the Surge is coming back stateside for production.

From what i heard

With Big B purchasing EBI, Storm is in the process of building additional lines to start producing them again.

Big B is also doing the same for the EBI stuff.
