Norm Duke on the Super Clash
« on: February 08, 2017, 02:42:07 PM »
Did I see right or was Norm never going to strike till he switched balls?

Was it a Dare Devil at first, all midlane no drive?  Then was it the Code Black ball?

LMK.

At this point, what can they really do that hasnt been done?  You have your regular tournaments.  There is a doubles tournament.  They have the PBA "League".  They have the Chris Paul Tournament.

Wait a sec.  There is something that hasnt been done.........COSMIC!!!!!!  LMAO!!

Moonlight 9-pin? Would be time for me to get that PBA card...

You know what would be more entertaining?

Actual bowling.

That's the answer in the nutshell.

Other sports also do these cheesy events to mix things up, but it's only a very small percent of their broadcasting. Bowling? we have relatively few professional telecasts as it is. The Clash and the Chris Paul events are circus acts, and I wondering how many non-bowlers tune in anyway. If they're going to degrade the professionalism of the sport, I hope they're getting ratings exposure they're chasing.
