All of these Storm balls are stronger than the aforementioned Brunswick balls. Not that the Brunswick balls are bad, far from it, they're excellent. Unfortunately, Joe Bowler wants more hook for their dollar. Depending on where they want the hook, the Storm balls appear to be a better hook to dollar ratio in most cases. That being said, your average scratch bowler can find a ton of value in both brand lines.
The Invasion is the strongest ball on the market. Period. Point blank. It hooks insanely early though.
The Virtual Gravity hooks more off the spot than the 3.5 and a little more overall. The 3.5 has a more "Brunswick" smooth reaction with prolly a little more controlabilty off the spot than the VG, but Joe Bowler wants to see the ball turn its blinker on.
The Virtual Energy is smooth for what it is and actuallyprolly hooks in around the same spot as the 2.5, but covers a little more on the back.
I don't know much of the 2 new ones yet. Only seen a couple, but from what I've seen, the 4.5 looks a lot like a Hy-Road on roids and the Prodigy looks a lot like a Dimension on roids. We shall see. I wouldn't put too much stock in my early assessment of those 2 as of now.
