It depends on how you define "benchmark" I guess.
If it's too angular, knock the polish off it with a 4000 abralon pad. That being said, the reaction really IS just combining a T-Road Solid and a T-Road Pearl, so you can get an idea from that. It's going to have some snap on the back out of the box thanks to the high gloss polished finish, but it's not a violent snap. It's very controllable. And again, taking the polish off it will smooth it out quite a bit. My dad drilled one up with a strong layout (one of the Mo Pinel "double thumb" drills) and it's very, very predictable off the spot, but gets enough angle to carry even from deeper inside lines.
