I have both of these balls in my arsenal. My dagger is pin up and my hyroad is pin down. At the same surface, my hyroad is extremely smooth compared to the dagger. I have had hyroads pin up as well and they will get down the lane just as much as the dagger, but the motion off the friction will be much smoother.
