Victory Road

I'm looking to replace an old Fired Up. Would the Victory Road be a good replacement for the F.U.?

I don't really get into the details of each ball that's made, but what's the difference between the R2S on VR and the Reactor on the F.U. when both are marked pearl reactive.

Most coverstock improvements focus on increased surface friction at a given finish, and less sensitivity to carrydown. R2S is an improvement over Reactor in that regard, and the Victory Road would be a good replacement for a Fired Up.

The Victory Road is early and smooth, I dont think it would be a suitable replacement for a Fired Up. I think a Reign is much more comparable, as its skid\flip nature is more inline with a Fired Up.

I have a few questions to ask xrayjay. How was ur fried up drilled and what type of reaction did it give you?

The Reign is todays version of the Fired Up. So if your looking for similar reaction to handle todays oil the Reign is the ball

The FU has a 5" pin close to the center grip, which gave me a controlled motion down the lane. I prefer ball reactions like my old track ball "slash" more than, lets say, my old hammer toxic which was too sharp at the spot. Thanks for the input, greatly appreciated.

I agree with TJ on everything . My right is drilled similar to ur Fired Up it has great length and backend. It's very controllable. The victory road will be more of a sharper reaction off the dry. Go with the reign will not be sorry.
