Virtual Energy Review

This ball is a must have for any bowler this upcoming season.

I drilled mine pin under bridge (5.5 inches from PAP), with a small hole down through the mass bias.

I cannot use my Virtual Gravity much (simply hooks too much for me), but when I can, I strike a lot with it. I was really looking forward to the Virtual Energy because I figured it would get through the front cleaner than the VG and be a go to ball for me.

After throwing the VE on everything from a house shot to Chameleon, Shark and the Open Championships pattern, I think the only time I can't use this ball is on shorter patterns.

The hybrid cover combined with the drill pattern I used, gave me the length through the front of the lane I need, but still really controlled the back of the lane. Normally I like pure solids on any fresh patterns, but the VE will definitely be the first ball out of my bag on anything longer than 38 ft.

On almost every pattern I was 3-5 boards further right than the VG and 2-4 boards left than my Hyroad.

The VE will be cleaner through the front than the VG, but will give you more hook than the hyroad. I really liked my Gravity Shift, and I think the VE is a stronger version of the Gravity Shift.

This is the must have ball for the 09-10 season. For as aggressive as the VE is, I have never seen a ball get through the front as clean as this one, but still control the back of lane.

Plus, it looks good and smells good.
