hy-road compared to t-road pearl

wondering how similar these are to each other since the numbers seem so similar.  i expect the hy-road to be stronger due the hybrid cover. i just got the hy-road and love it.

I just picked up a Hy-Road. I have a stronger drilling on it than my T-Road Pearl, so I can't say much on that.  But it does seem to handle more oil and deal with carrydown better.  I start with the Hy-Road and pull out the T-Road Pearl when it's hooking too much.  This seems to be a pretty sweet combo for fresh THS.

The T Road Pearl will be cleaner through the fronts and mids with a stronger reaction off dry.  The Hy Road will pick up a touch earlier and handle oil download better.  As far as overall hook, it depends on both the pattern and how you throw the ball.  Many times higher rev/ high axis rotation player will cover more boards with the T Road Pearl, assuming there is some friction.
