Is the Street Rod Pearl or the Neptune more suited for drier lane conditions?

Neptune.  Very predictable and great carry.

Every Street Rod Pearl I've seen has hooked at the arrows and stops when there is any friction.

The Neptune is a .018 diff with a very clean cover. The Street Rods are lower diff balls, but the cover is still fairly strong. I think the Neptune is a great dry lanes ball

I have a street rod pearl and it is a great ball for the lighter side medium.  I find it to be too much ball for dry lanes.

So, between the two you ask about, the neptune would likely be the better choice.
