Now what did I just win?

It's overseas and, from the note on Bowling Ball Reviews, looks potentially like the Secret. It's a hybrid cover, but it looks from the pictures like it's a shiny pearl/solid hybrid.

It was just over $20 so I figured I'd take a shot. Has anyone thrown this?

Ball came today. I still have to plug it and redrill it, and give it a resurface. Whoever had it before me has about 3/4 to 1 inch right lateral in the thumb (!), which I've never seen before in my life.

As far as looks go, it looks just like the original Shift if you don't pay attention to it having some solid mixed in with the pearl. Nice looking ball and should really look good in fresh clothing.

Finally got a chance to throw it in league tonight after taking the surface to 2000 Abralon plus polish.

This is the strongest hybrid coverstock ball I've thrown, by far. It's stronger than my Roto Grip Silver Streak SE and Epic Saga. Big-time, deliberate move down lane.

Too big for my house, actually. I was only able to throw it a few frames before I had to put it up. To be fair, I was bowling on the "dry end" of our house on a pair not known for having any kind of hold to speak of. I'll give it another try next week.

The roll of this ball reminded me of something in between the Thunder series and my Paradigm. It reminds me of the Paradigm in the front part of the lane and the FE2-cored balls in the back part. Nice piece.
