Seeing all the new Storm releases and how they just sell new balls based on older stuff, why doesn't Storm just re-release the Virtual Gravity?
When the original VG was released, I noticed entire pairs in league where everyone was using the same ball. When I went to the USBC Open Championships in 2009 there was a VG(most with more than one) on every ball return. Even for a couple of years afterwards, at least in No Cal, the VG was probably the most common ball being used. I still see one from time to time.
They(Storm) did it with the Marvel Pearl, so just re-release the ORIGINAL version, it will probably out sell anything they make as an "Improved" VG.

I think they would sell bucket loads. if I hadn't dropped to 15 lbs, I would still use my virtual gravity.

Amazing timing you have Milorafferty!!
And today I get a notice from my PSO about the Gravity Evolve!!
Do you play the lottery?? I need to know a couple winning numbers!! ;D :) ;)
P.S. I still own two of them by the way!

Few reasons here. Anytime someone releases a "vintage" version of something, inevitably a few things happen:
A) "Well it's not EXACTLY like the 2011 version . . it's just not the same"
B) "Oh hey, they're releasing an 8 year old ball again . . just goes to show they can't make anything better.
C) "Oh wow it's back!!!" 2 months later, completely forgotten
That's why they redesigned the IQ Tour Pearl, if they'd have just done a straight re-release, it would have gotten attention for a couple months and then gotten ignored. This way it's "fresh."
This is a way to pay tribute to a classic, but update it with new tech. I know some people just want the original back, but that's just been proven to not really work.

So you are saying Storm didn't make money on the Marvel Pearl re-release?
