Virtual Gravity and the Siege

To those who have thrown both:  Similarities and differences?  They both have my eye currently.  I'm looking for something asym. for heavier oil that's got more of a backend pop than my Dimension which is the roll roll roll king.

I would make sure not to overlook the Full Swing, lots of good things i have seen about it on here and from some local staff guys who have them, I threw one of theirs and i was impressed, deff more then my cell. it sounds like it fits your bill, better for oil with more backend pop!!the seige is a great ball but not as strong on the back but a good all around ball, not as aggressive as the full swing, i would say the f swing is like my black widow i had with about 5 - 6 more boards overall and 2-3 more off the break

I cant speak for the Siege or the Full swing as the other poster mentioned...but what i can tell you is that the Virtual Gravity is exactly what you are looking for.

The VG and the Dimension compliment each other so well and give you different looks on heavier volumes of oil.

Will the Virtual Energy be able to handle those heavy oil/longer patterns?

With a surface change, yes it could...

Keep in mind tho, the virtual gravity was designed to do exactly what you are asking for, hook more than a dimension and have more "pop" off the back of the pattern

I compare the virtual gravity directly to a dimension in that video...also as an fyi that video was shot on a slightly heavier and longer pattern than my normal videos...

Thanks for that link Britton, that's a great comparison of the two.  I love it.

The sad part about this question is that I posted it in the Brunswick forum, and people started to argue about gear I'm not looking at.  That just leaves a sour taste in my mouth.  

So far, the VG is tipping the scales.

I've thrown all these balls mentioned.  The top 2 when it comes to what you're asking for is the Seige and Virtual Gravity.  I definitely think the Virtual Gravity is exactly what you are looking for.  I love the Seige but it needs a little more midlane than the Virtual does, and on those long oily patterns you are not going to see as much midlane.  Too many people on here speak blindly about a brand they like, whether they've thrown the balls or not, and no matter what the conversation is really about.  I'm a Brunswick guy and I'll tell you straight up that the Virtual Gravity is exactly what you're looking for.

I have thrown both of these.

However take it for what it's worth.  Two balls drilled differently with box surfaces, again which are way different.

Siege is drilled 60 x 5 x 35 (pin up) box 1000
VG is drilled 60 x 5 x 70 (pin down) box 4000

For me, Siege is earlier (no surprise, being Brunswick and surface) however it was every bit as strong in the backend.

Again, I have not yet changed the surface on the Siege and one is pin up vs pin down.

I will update after a surface change because it is way too strong for the volumes I see.
