I don't own both, but I have thrown both (own the Dimension, only tried the Virtual Gravity once).  I absolutely love the Dimension, which is great at handling oil, but also is very smooth and predictable and great for playing more direct lines.  On the other hand, the Virtual Gravity's cover/core matchup was just too strong for me.  Very, very angular for a solid, it was a look that would only be good for me for long oil when I need to move deep inside.  (I'd love to have a Virtual Gravity specifically for that condition, but I just don't want to spend the money on a ball I'll almost never use )  Both are great balls, but meant for giving you totally different looks at the pocket.

Greetings, I have both and for me the Dimension is the better ball for me 'tween the two, at least for now.

In fact just yesterday I had dropped off my VG to have it re-drilled as I am coming into the pocket pretty consistently with my VG but I am getting so many
splits that it isn't any fun bowling with it.

I had my VG originally drilled kinda of aggressive so when I dropped it off yesterday I told him to put the pin up over the bridge. I am looking forward to
getting my VG back and try it out

I also got the STORM Gravity-Shift and had that drilled with the number-1 drilling and I am loving that ball too...I like throwing STORM and LANEMASTERS, great gear IMHO.

I have both balls and I don't have a favorite - they just match up differently for me.

The Dimension works best for me as a down and in oiler and the Virtual works best throwing from the inside in order to get angle.  I use the Dimension more simply because I find more places where it comes into play for me than the Virtual.

Dimension works for me on fresh house shots, Scorpion, and occasionally Shark if I can play it down and in.  Virtual is my first ball out of the bag on Shark and I can also use it on Scorpion and Chameleon.  For me the Virtual creates 'ten/eight pin hell on house shots'.

I have both balls and use them frequently.

Dimension is for oiler conditions (Shark) where I what to play a bit straighter with more control at the backend.  After the heads burn up a bit and the Dimension starts to jump or not hit, I will switch to the VG.  Like someone already said, the VG is more suited if you are trying to open up the lanes.  The best all around all I feel is the Hyroad.  Have two drilled and use them both on THS. Storm is making some real good equipment and you can't go wrong with either of these balls.
