Title: Virtual Gravity comparable to Brunswick ???
Post by: high_revs on December 10, 2008, 07:14:52 AM
As a longtime Brunswick user, I am unfamilier with Storm's VG.  I have one coming, just wondering which Brunswick ball would be compareable to the VG? Twisted Solid? Maxxx Zone? or ??? cheers

I would have to guess whatever has the largest hooking potential in the brunswick line.  I think that is the Maxxx Zone.

I dont think there is any ball past or present in Brunswick's lineup that is comparable to the Virtual

I have a VG coming, but thinking about trading it for something else a little tamer.

Lately have not seen to much heavy oil. Or the other option is I could try it out with a pin-high weaker layout & polished.

Anyone have success with a VG on less than heavy oil patterns???

The VG is most likely comparable to the Maxx Zone's oil-handling ability but with more backend like the Twisted Fury or something.

You could definitely put a tamer drill on it, something like a 6x4 and then add polish to it, and it would still work well on med-heavy oil

It is close to a Strike Zone.

The Virtual Gravity handles surface change pretty good. I have laid out ones and changed the surface and it responded slower to friction.

Use the lay out you want and adjust the surface to create the desired length.

hmm...i would suggest asking the mexicans that pour the balls for Brunswick

buuut yeah probably a maxxx zone would be close...but nothing is like the virtual gravity. That ball is just beyond words, too amazing to describe.
