Anyone take a Tropical Heat to 4000?

Just got the Indigo/Violet. It is WAY stronger than I thought it would be. I'm thinking of taking it to 4000/polish. Anyone else ever do this?

In reality that isn't very different from the box finish, so it might push a few inches further but no dramatic change.

I know exactly how you feel. i was expecting my heat to be similar to my tropical storm. but it was completely opposite. i sanded mine with a 4000 pad that had been used countless times. then i hit it with 2 coats of extended polish. now it reacts similar to my topical storm but there is more backend recovery which is the motion that i was expecting to see from the start.

I hit it with worn 4000 pads and then with polish. Ball is now giving me the reaction I was looking for. Very happy.
