virtual gravity or invasion
« on: January 31, 2011, 09:11:39 PM »
I'm ordering a few new balls and plan to get a new premier line ball.  I have not had a strong solid in a while.  I know the nano is coming out but I'm getting either a virtual gravity or invasion.  Which would be better.

Don't bother with him Trudell.  If you notice, that was WalkingLegend's first post.  Most likely the other guy that was giving you a hard time wanted to make it seem like others were giving you a hard time also.  Ask on.  Only way you know if someone knows an answer is to ask.

Balls in the bag and order they come out:
#1-Anarchy #2- Virtual Energy  #3- Virtual Gravity #4- Gravity Shift #5- Big Hit (spare and really dry)
#6- Teal Rhino Pro (oldie but a goodie)

I would only drill an Invasion if your bowling on longer patterns and have some problems getting your other balls to read the lane properly.  I have 2 Invasions that I use on longer patterns like Shark or patterns with higher volumes.  It's a strong ball, and once the fronts go away it tends to burn up quickly.    The Virtual Gravity will give you some angularity in a heavier oil ball.  It's better for an all purpose oil ball because the angularity will help carry the corners on a longer pattern when the fronts start to go.

Both have a very good purpose in an arsenal.

So if I understand this correctly, in order to "break away" from 24/7 bowling talk, you come to a bowling website and, let's see if I got this right, talk about bowling?

"IF" I was on the "STORM PGA REGIONAL STAFF" or worked in a pro shop, like the poster says he is, then I would ask someone at STORM bowling company (or in my pro shop, where my driller knows my game) vs us DUMMIES who don't even know how to adjust a ball cover to make it work on a house shot, (see the post below about needing a new ball, advice in storm thread).LMAO, ken

You people are rediculous.  I can talk this over with who ever I want.  I can't believe you people need to cause this much trouble because I'm talking about bowling balls with people who who want to talk about them.  There are no dummies on here besides the people that need to ridicule people on posts.  None of you are bringing any valuable information to the site by doing this just keep talking and hide behind your screen names.

Deciding between a VG and Invasion really depends on the shape you want your ball to have in the backend of the lane, when it comes out of the oil pattern. Both will handle high volumes of oil, but the VG will be more angular than the Invasion. Ask yourself what kind of angle you want your ball to go through the pins with, and then make a decision from there. With surface adjustments and balance holes, you can fine tune your reaction as needed.

Thank you tommy.  I want an angular reaction so I went with the virtual gravity.  I figure my marvel will be smoother of the spot with similar midlane reaction.  So the two balls should compliment each other great.

Who can deep throat the most? Seems logical in his case.

No doubt.  A "Storm Regional Staff" member asking these questions on an open forum?  What are the qualifications to become a "Storm Regional Staff member"?

Its kinda funny, there are always people on here looking to get attention, (Beans, Sawboner....) who have no clue what the hell they are talking about. But Billy Boy, I have to give you credit, you might be a bigger brownnoser than Beans is to Richie and this whole site was to Sawbones COMBINED! The only reason you're doing this is:

A: you love attention

and

B: you're trying to kiss ass to your ball company to keep your "staff" spot.

Stop trying to fool us all. some of us arent falling for it.

Kinda  funny how your date joined is 2-3-2011.  So how is it possible for you to get a feeling for the forums and guys such as beans and sawboner who ever they are with so little time posting.  So again hide behind your many different screen names and try to cause trouble.  And if you think I need to kiss add to keep my staff spot you are sadly mistaken.  I have no problem talking bowling on an open forum.  Don't like don't post. Think your better than I then so be it. Warwick ri is where I live come bowl me.

What would bowling you prove? Not a damn thing. You're probably just some house hack who averages 230 on walls, but is never a factor when they are tough. What have you done? Won a PBA event? Won a Megabuck? NOTHING. That is why you and all the other pathetic ass-hats sit in here and try to talk about how great you are. Good players dont have to talk themselves up, their bowling does it for them.

I believe swearing is against the new rules of this website.  Clearly the filter warnings aren't working.

Trudell wrote on 2/4/2011 12:02 PM:What ever I'm done dealing with this. I'm not talking myself up at all. If that's what you think that I'm a hack but I'm not going to take it from a bunch of 190 hacks. I do plenty fine when there tough and have nothing to prove. So keep making your screen names and talking your shit. I'm not the only one here with staff in their signature, go bother someone else. And again keep hiding behind your screen names cuz you would never have the sack or anything else to back up all your bull to my face you need to use a screen name.
