Yesterday I had a tournament on what seemed to be a harder shot. Most oil I have seen in a while. Had some volume and good length. I was pretty much pointing my Virtual Gravity off the corner. It is at 2000 abralon, and I just couldn't seem to get it to cover enough boards. It is drilled 4.25" from my PAP, pin over ring finger. The MB I'm not too sure about, but it probably 3/4" to the right of my thumb. It wasn't burning up because I used a polished Strike Zone and a box finish Ultra Zone and couldn't get those to move at all.
Finally I decided to pull out my Attitude Shift, also at 2000 abralon. That one is drilled 4" from my PAP, pin under my ring finger. I am also not sure about the MB to PAP length, but is actually farther from my PAP than the Virtual Gravity's, because it is probably 3/4" under my thumb. Anyways, I found this ball to actually cover more bostards overall, not just on the backend. The Virtual, for me, just doesn't seem to be as strong as I thought it would be.
I decided to pick up a used Special Agent because I had one before and it hooked earlier than my Virtual Gravity does. Just curious if this is the case for anyone else? Also, I know that if I took it down to 1000 abralon it might work better, just wanted to point out that the Attitude Shift out performed it on the heavy oil.
I have probably 25-275 RPM, 15 mph ball speed, with good axis rotation.
