Seeing an Anarchy up close it seems that ball was made for his game. It has a great reaction at the breakpoint and Walter is all about predictability off the spot. Good choice for him.

I guess that whole Track thing didn't work out for him.

Of course, he also was battling injuries for much of the season.

This makes me wonder if he is going to sign with Storm.  It looked like the Track stuff he threw earlier this year wasn't the best match for him.

I think he matches up extremely well with that core.  I can't envision too many shots where a few of these pills with the Origin core with varying surfaces and drillings wouldn't provide a shot in the arm for his game for just about every condition he might encounter.  IMHO, the Track stuff might just be a little too long for him.

He matched up very well with the 900 Global equipment.  Too bad his 'price tag' is way too high!

You're right about him and 900 Global.  He made a ton of shows using the Break Out and that ball definitely was money to him.  The one show he made this year, it seemed that he wasn't really comfortable with the 715T.  Also, it was mentioned that the staff at Track/Ebonite were changing around his grip and really making a lot of changes.  These changes ended up in a tough season.   It's not like a few years ago where he was throwing Track before joining MoRich, and actually did well.

If WRW were to go to Storm, can you picture a pro staff with him, Norm Duke, Rhino Page, Ryan Shafer, PDW, Diandra Asbaty, Belmo, and Andres Gomez?  Then add in Wes Malott, CDB, Brian Kretzer, Tom Baker, and Brian LeClair?  Talk about having nearly the best all-star lineup that you can get.

I disagree, I think that Track stuff is too rolly for him. End over end with those big blocks in the Track line equate to a lot carry issues.  The Storm stuff is cleaner, so he gets a little more natural length and more motion down lane. The Track stuff hook-stopped for him. IMHO.

walter ray has arthritis very bad in his right hand and is in pain. His span had to be shortened I think 1/2" and some thumb pitch changes so that his hand would not hurt bowling. I imagine that it took him time to learn to get out of the ball correctly with major span change.

The Origin core in the Invasion/Anarchy is one of the "rolliest" cores that Storm has come out with in quite some time which would explain why it/they might a great fit for WRW.  If you're not careful with drillings, each of those pills can be quickly turned into boats anchors 'cause you're wondering why your $220 ball is leaving plack-10s like there's no tomorrow.  The money part and the arthritis have their place in this, as well.  It's been my experience with Track products over the past few years that they promote a lot of length with very strong movement off the spot and that is just not in WRW's wheelhouse.
