Check out the Tropical Breeze Kona Blue/Silver ball reaction video.

It's also compared to the Tropical Heat Hybrid and Tropical Heat Solid.

Thanks for sharing the video.  That is a nice reaction you were getting there.  What kind of lane condition were you rolling on?  I just picked up the Black/Teal solid Breeze and on a Fresh Medium THS it was really laboring to get a read if i didn't get it out to the friction on the outside of the pattern.  That being said, it reacted very smoothly, without losing all of it's energy off the dry, which is exactly what i've been wanting.

Hi Dan.  This was shot on a fresh medium tapered house shot.  Kyle, the tester did say it was definitely the weakest ball he's ever thrown.  Doesn't mean he couldn't get a good reaction, but it is clearly a step down from the Tropical Heats which I think is what Storm intended to do.  It will labor if you don't have some dry boards as the reaction is predominantly from the cover.  It has a weak roundish core so you can expect a smooth reaction.  I think it can be considered a nice step down to any of the benchmark type balls.  Unless you are bowling on a medium-dry or dry fresh shot, I don't know that this would be first ball out of the bag on a medium shot.

Thanks for the reply.  I'd certainly agree that it would be a great step down from a benchmark. In my case it is going to come out when there's just no hold anywhere on the lane for the Reign Supreme.

It could just be me, but maybe the Lehigh Valley bowler of the year wanted usable layout? Because drilling every ball strong makes sense, Right?
