they have some x-factors and some other storm balls really cheap, I was wanting to know why they are cheap.

There could be many reasons.
1) It is a failing site and needs any many quick
2) Could possibly be a scam
3) It is actually run by a good person who is trying to help out some fellow bowlers (doesnt happen all that often online, unless its a site like this)
4) It is a home run website that cant charge alot because they wont get any buisness.
Could be any of those. Unless you have a reason to trust them, I wouldnt buy much, especially anything expensive. You could always buy something for you know 10 bux, and see if it works, then maybe you could buy a ball or what-not

Everyone has their preference, but a 2" pin with 2 oz top is OK to me.  Anything less than 1.5" pin will dictate your drilling.  Does high or low top make that much difference with today's studded missiles?  I tend to order long pins and low tops because I like CG outs and the low top minimizes the weight hole size.

I have no idea why this idea persists. No one has ever said this in the last 2 years or so.

Storm does NOT own Dyno-Thane.

Phil Cardinale bought Dyno-Thane from Storm about 2 years ago. AFAIK, He has a contract with Storm to manufacture Dyno-Thane balls from Dyno-Thane coverstocks AND Dyno-Thane cores.

The best deals on there are the Deuce and the original X-Factor.$100 bucks shipped. not bad even though it's a medium or heavy 15 or 14.
