Oh please no trailer with this one, PLEASE.  Unless they actually tell us something about the ball this time.  The X-Factor trailer would be about like waiting and waiting through the credits after the Matrix Reloaded to see a preview for Revolutions as follows:

Imagine the title swimming in the ripple of green letters and symbols that we know as the language of the Matrix.  Then in comes the voice, "For years you've waited for the second and third installments of the greatest story of all time.  Now you've witnessed the second, and the time for the third has come.  Almost.  We're making you wait an extra 5 months because we're nice enough to not leave you hanging for another 4 years, and now that you've sat through the credits to see a preview for Revolutions, we're not gonna say anything more than it's great, so come see it, cause we don't wanna spoil the surprise quite yet.  Toodles."

Why don't they just put out technical data and a picture out now instead of a coming soon thing?  I realize it's marketing, and spreading the word, but I'd think that information about the ball would spread just as quickly, and we still have to wait the same amount of time until it's released either way.  What do people want when they hear about a new ball coming out?  Pictures, and technical data.  What do we have?  A bland ad.  Maybe I'm just one of those rare people that likes substance rather than shadows.  If you're gonna put it out, just do it.  The X-Factor was drawn out so much that I'd lost interest by the time it finally was released, and I didn't even give the Deuce a second look.  Smelled it quite a few times though.

here's my take.......

The X Factor line was supposed to replace the Trauma line.....
SO:
X Factor = Trauma
Duece = ER
Therefore it's either going to be the Response replacement or, the
Recovery replacement.

Its the exact same thing the did to the El Nino line:

Trauma = El Nino Wrath = X-Factor
Trauma ER = El Nino = X-Factor Duece
Trauma Recovery = El Nino 2000 = X-Factor ???
Trauma Response = El Nino X-It or La Nina = X-Factor ???

So as stated above it will probably be a response or recovery replacement, but they did the same thing to the El Nino's, so i guess you could have seen this coming.

Sorry Bujo, but the 2000 rolls nothing like the Recovery, seems more like the original Trauma to me.  And even though I haven't thrown the Deuce, I'd have to compare it to the El Nino Gold.  I'd have to say the X-IT and Recovery were more similar, although the X hooked a lot more.  Lightly polished particle solids, I believe.  Lol, I'm not trying to pick your post apart, I'm just offering my experiences, yours might be different!

Thanks Mumzie for your question and I will let the 'cat out of the bag.'
As you would imagine we used the same RAD weight block technology again, as in the previous X Factors. You should recall that this weight block design is our 'strongest' weight block design and is perfect for generating a more aggressive ball reaction. The coverstock on the RE-Loaded is pearlized and particle-loaded. It is our Reload 3 coverstock, meaning it's a 3% particle load (medium-light), but this is the first time we have used this particle in any of our bowling balls. It is a soft/ flexible material, like the PRO-Thane covers, and provides added traction in the oil without harming the lane surface itself.

Look for a reaction most similar to the Deuce, with more entry angle..

Best of luck!

Hamster i agree with you.. It irritates me a lot when companies come out with a new ball or balls but wont give you ny info whatsoever.It would be nice if they atleast gave us pics or technical data. So Hamster i totaly agree with you.

Thanks, Steve. Might just take the place of the El Nino in the bag...
I can't use the El Nino for national stops, 'cause it's been plugged. I've been looking for something to take it's place!

Now - the next question - WHEN???

Lol, thanks allstar.  Thought I was the only one.  Thanks a TON though, Storm Tech!  That's all I ask for!  I don't care if the ball is released next week or in two months, I know what I'm going to be looking at!

Well, at least Storm Tech put things in the correct perspective.  I was hoping for a new ball to fill the niche that the Response filled, but it sounds like this new one is not that particular ball.  So, I can hold off on my buying fever until Storm comes up with that new combination to fill the void that the Response left behind.
