In my opinion, Storm has one of the most complete product lines from top to bottom. As a fun little poll, what do you guys want to see next, and/or what do you think is missing from the current line up?

The Pyro

Something like the Shape-Lock HD wrapped in weak weak cover...like Accu-Tread Pearl or something.
Maybe a pearl particle Street Rod or something

Something similar to a Neptune for drier conditions. The treet Rods and Tropicals are way to strong

How about a R2X Pearl/Solid hybrid w/E.T.M coverstock on the Rapid Fire Core? 4000 Abralon Finish?
Black solid with gold mica in it
and the pearl electric blue with black mica
I'd buy one.

Britton,
From a coverage standpoint (balls to cover most conditions) I'd agree that the current line up is pretty complete. However, I would argue that the area that Storm is still kind of weak is in the higher RG - lower diff ball for drier heads. The Street Rod balls I think were designed for that area but there is too much overlap with the fire and thunder lines. There needs to be new Storm core that meets that spot as well as a cover stock that meets the need that Curelon space - milder reactive that doesn't overreact in dry.
-
THUNDER FLASH!!!!!!!!
-
I would love to see something WEAKER along the lines of a BIG HIT Pearl, BLUE HOT Flame, or RED HOT Flame for drier conditions!
Basically something that goes LONGER (and with slightly LESS Backend) than Roto Grip's NEPTUNE... and still has the ability to hit & carry.
ROTO GRIP actually already has such a ball in the EARTH. But the EARTH is an overseas ball and I haven't ever been able to find one here in the U.S. The EARTH, from what I have heard, is the Big Hit's CORE with the Neptune's COVER. Which would seem like a perfect step down from the Neptune, since it has the same COVER with just a weaker CORE.
So basically it would be a weaker type of ball like this that I would like to see either from STORM or ROTO GRIP. I know that I would buy a Case or 2 of them!

Two more T-Roads...
One particle the other pearl urethane.
With those two added you could have a arsenal of T-Roads that could handle just about any lane condition.
-
I would like to see something like the neptune in storms line up, something like a replacement for the thunder flash would be awesome for thoes really tricky patterns. Having a ball again like the tour power would be awesome so everyone can have a great bench mark ball.
ALso I would like to see a replacement for the xfactor. THere is the super domination that they have overseas.

Something to compete with AMF's Mega Friction...a splinter-throwing hook monster with little concern for length.
-
A Particle Pearl, like the X Factor Ace. Or something for lighter oil, like plastic with a core, and a new clear Plastic ball with the lightning bolt inside.

all they need to do is bring back a couple of balls
Tour Power- enough said
Thunder Flash- todays conditions hook to much with all these hook monets make something controlable and that hits
Meteor Flash- Low flare and hit

I agree. I was also going to suggest a pure urethane, but the above post beat me to it. Also a particle T-Road would be sweet.
In addition, I'd like to see the El Nino line return.

+1
great ball!!!!
-
Super Domination! It is an overseas ball with the RAD weight block, solid r2x with ETM!
Also, on the other end of the spectrum, a weaker covered ball than the Tropicals and the Street Rods would be nice, something similar to 900G Creature Pearl and Link.
-
A modern version of the Core Power LRG.
-
.
I'd like to see the return of the Bolt and Bolt Pro
.
how about a Hy-Road Pro?
-
How about the original Black Thunder? I would like that. It might bring me back to try a storm ball again.

Is the Super Domination really good ?

In my bag :
Virtual Gravity
Hy-Road
Buzzsaw Clear Diamond
-
I think storm needs to release an updated Hot Rod, with a stronger coverstock but still with no core. Maybe R2S or Reactor to give the same motion as a Rayzr for drier lanes so the ball can push further down the lane in later games.
-
It is a new Japanese release. If you look on Storm's site, they seem to have about 6 different Dominations, using about every current cover on that weight block, including SOLID R2X with ETM, a cover that has not been used here yet. I just particularly like the RAD weight block.

A tame ball for lighter conditions would be nice, as an alternative to the higher RG Reactor Tropical Storms. An urethane cover (there are overseas balls...) with a lower RG core would be nice, or a ball with an older Cureylon coverstock with a true core, say a Street Rod with such a weaker cover.
Besides, I still dream of an Accu Tread revival - a pearl ball with the Twin-V core would be nice

The Trauma ER with a little stronger cover.
-
A ball like the AMF Mega Friction, THAT IS HILARIOUS! "Dust" a Virtual Gravity with 1000 grit so it's as dusty as that Mega Friction and see if you feel the same way.

yeah.... the mega friction still out hooks the virtual. The virtual is a decent ball though. I had mine at 1000, and there was still no comparison.

Hmm..Lets see what I have in this bag...some magic, some hot sauce, and a saw.. how can I loose....Dynamo and Liberator on the way.....

i wish i bowled where all of you bowl becuase ive had my virtual for almost 4 months and have a total of about 15 gmaes on it. I can't throw it anywhere it hooks too much. I wish people would realize that hook isnt alway the answer. Too many people dont know the difference between hook and roll out. Whats wrong with some milder pieces that offer control and are more consistant than just a hook monster

IMO, Storm needs something to compare to a Vibe...bit weaker cover with easy length and hit. The Street Rod balls are very good, but the pearl is a bit too aggressive in the midlane to be used on burnt up stuff, and the Tropicals hook a bit too much as well.
Personally, I think if they made T-Road pearls & HyRoads forever, I doubt most Storm fans would complain

I also agree with the idea of the remake of the ER one of my all time favorite ball and with the S2x solid cover would be awesome and I dont think buying a case would be good enough. If we are going to go on these things I would like to see the xfactor core with the r2s or r2x pearl cover would be awesome.

a ball that dosent suck!!!!
-
Easy a light to light medium oil ball that is smooth. Im sure this would make a great tournament ball and for the cranker and lower ball speed users would make a nice ball. I know personally I struggle to find balls weak enough for me(everything is too strong and I cant find a good solid thats weak enough.

We need the x-factor line back

Storm Depth Charge. I loved the low-load particle coverstock and core combination.

From a marketing viewpoint, my daughter would sure like another La Nina. Me, I fall into the control camp. I hardly ever see house conditions where the top of the line Storm hook monsters are an advantage. The Thunder Series offers the most versatility under the greatest number of conditions for me. I think I would like to see a Long/Low Road using a less aggressive, perhaps harder coverstock than the T-Road Pearl.

Would love to see a great control ball...thunder flash, tour power and would also love to see some classic remakes....sun storm, x factor, skybolt, paradigm...obviously wouldnt be the beasts they were then but would be fun to throw some relics! would also love to see the rad+ core back in use...just a personal favorite of mine

It would be nice to see some more stuff like the old HotRod, Barbwire, TooHot's stuff like that... I had two of the HotRods and they were awesome house shot balls and dry lane balls, and for 130$ you couldnt beat them.
Or, a ball like the BigHit with a core in it....
I always liked the Tour Power, another ball like that would be sweet.
Or the old Trauma

I agree with a big hit cover with a symetrical core in it.
I would definitely buy a Thunderflash Pro again if they re released it!
-
How about take the core from the original hot rod and put a pearl urethane cover on it, that would be one good ball for a light oil to dryer condition. Like a few have already stated, bring back the original rad core and put the r2x pearl cover on it.

They could also put the curelyon coverstock on the T-Road core, that would be really good for the viper and chameleon patterns once they break down some, or the cheetah pattern..hehe!
