What is this MONSOON Pearl coverstock?

It's on the Hot Rod ProStock Pearl, the Banshee, the Recharge, etc...

What does it do that is different from say Curelyon Pearl Reactive?

I could not agree more with you  Brickguy221   I also prefer Storm and Brunswick because I get a better roll and read on the lanes. I've thrown two of Storm's balls with the monsoon and didn't care for them. I should just buy three Original X-factors and drill them to give me three different looks and be done with it. My latest favorite is the Brunswick Smart Zone 1  Had it drilled for a strong mid lane roll because it looks like a plastic ball it's so shiny. Can't complain about the results though, I have shot over 700 with it more than i've shot below 700. Put a 300/800 series in the mix and it was well worth the price I paid for it. $95 drilled, what a steal.

I just wish that Storm would remake the Original Eraser. That ball was the BOMB.

A very good bowler friend of mine has the X Factor and the Triple X Factor. He uses the Triple XXX when there's too much oil for the X-Factor.

That is very true. With the weight block being taller in the Recharge, I guess that makes it go longer.

From the theory I have heard, given by some reliable technical people, taller cores make the reaction have more of a skid/flip nature.

Rounder shaped cores tend to make the coverstock/ball more even reacting, smoother, by nature.

Plus the basic RG on the Power Charge is 2.49, vs the Recharge's 2.54. That's statistically significant.

Oh, that's kind of what I meant to say... I just didn't type it out.

And that makes sense, because for a ball to be skid/snap... it would have to get length in order to store up the energy to acheive that snap???

The Recharge is looking more and more appealing to me!
