^^^^ Yeah....no..
Agroves,
I would consult with your partner(s) at your shop and find out which pieces selling best and which aren't. Drill each of those to familiarize yourself with them on a personal level so you can better promote each product. Throwing the more popular piece gives you and that ball more credibility with it's fans. Throwing the least popular gives your customers a chance to see it in action and gain some confidence of what would be a "great ball but no one else throws it"
Example, I roll the Virtual Gravity and Energy every week in league and during tournaments. Won a couple of sweepers with them and got a lot of hits in the shop for them. Same results with the Fast and Furious. However, after not throwing my the Fast and Furious for a few weeks, I saw an overall loss in interest. Just as an experiment for the last two weeks, I've gone back and started throwing them again, and wouldn't you know it, I sold them again.
Your bowlers are going to look to you and sometimes your bag for ideas. And as you know, it's your job to point them in the right direction when you get them through your door. Punch up one of the high end pieces which you say the VG is popular around there and familiarize yourself with it, and ask your boss about punching up one of your lowest selling balls so you can better promote it or at least figure out why it's not moving so well in your area.
