Hello,
could you please help me out, I want to buy a new ball and need some advice .

I play mostly on medium-heavy oil patern.
have the bad habbit of bowling to hard (+/- 28km/h) but willing to work on this.
I'm looking for a ball with a relative nice hook potential, not to extreme, or one with a nice arc.
(What would be the best option for a "speedy" player ?)

 could you recommend me something ?

for the moment, i am thinking about triple X or Xtreme.

Hi there. First of all a word of advise. Learn how to adjust your speed. Go to stormbowling.com and click on to pro tips. You will find valuable tips from the pro's. Adjusting your speed is a critical asset when you can master it. I have people I bowl against and can't adjust and I eat them up. As far as the ball, don't know much of the XXX-extreme but I do have the Triple-X. It took a couple of weeks to get used to it but now it is my #1 ball. The past couple of months I've avg 215. I even shot 690 and 712 respectfully in state tour last month. And you know how state shots can be. Good luck

can we know more about how many revs you have on the ball, what ball do you use right now?

If you are looking for Storm, I personnally have a TOO HOT that I used as a first ball for a while.  It is good for medium oil, but you will need to learn the speed thing for heavy oil, but I liked it because I really didn't need a second ball.  I could shoot strikes and 10 pins (which I can't shoot very good anyway) with this ball.

The only reason I went with a stronger first ball was my house was flooding the lanes and I was tired of shooting str8 at the head pin.

If you want a Storm ball that is stronger, I would also suggest something from the xxx line.
