Little help finding a new storm....
« on: January 30, 2005, 04:16:04 AM »
I think I will attempt to buy a new ball soon, and I want some opinions as well as opposed to what the match maker says. The match maker gives me the flash flood as the ball I should be throwing...and thats was what I have now and have used since I have started. I am a 175 average bowler who has bowled for a little over a year and I throw on heavily oiled wood lanes. I tend to throw at more of a medium speed with a medium rev rate. I'm trying to look for more of a ball with a higher hook potential. I feel to often as if I'm straining myself to get the flash flood back into the pocket.

I've been bowling for quite a while on the house shot at the bowling alley I bowl at. Last year we used a heavy oil pattern, however this year it actually was oiled even heavier. My flash flood was great last year with the other pattern, however this year it has become more of a struggle to find its way back to the pocket. The vertigo and atomic charge were two I had been looking at. I think they are probably my best choice for a ball with the reaction I need. Thanks for the help guys.
