Just wondering what would be the best line up with the Storm balls?
-
Special Agent
T-Road
Jolt
Something like that, i would change the jolt for a Hot rod hybrid. But this is their current lineup.

I dont know why anyone would have 3 top of ToTL balls, what do you do when you encounter lighter oil?

Adjust or come off the back of the ball.

I'd have to say
Heavy Stuff: Double Agent/Passion
Mediums: Thunderstruck Solid
Lighter Stuff: Tropical drilled weak

High Game - 269, High Series - 691

Hmm that's a good question.
Definitely Special Agent.
Could also use a Thunderstruck Solid or something like that. Maybe could sub in a T-Road Pearl here.
I am also digging the Shift because of the particles in it.

Passion
Shift
Spit Fire
Definitely would go with these. I'd normally throw a Domination in there but I think the Shift gives you more versatility. Passion is your main choice for heavy oil and the Spit Fire, although not meant for light oil, can work well on the lighter patterns.
-
Special Agent,Spitfire, tropical. Sub in an original agent or T-Road pearl on the spitfire area depending on amount of oil you see and where you like the breakpoint to be.
-
With the exception of a spare ball:
Passion
Domination
Thunderstruck Pearl
-
Taking the spare-ball into account, its really a two-ball "arsenal:"
Special Agent
Thunderstruck Pearl
Team Storm spare

I rarely see light oil, and when I say that, I mean I NEVER see light oil. I also have little hand, so it won't matter; I'd just use the weakest of my "ToTL" balls. So I can see what you mean, if you have more hand, you would need a light-oil ball. But then you would have to make more adjustments between your stronger balls (considering you only have 3, as we are all talking about). Especially for me, I really wouldn't need something like a "Jolt." The lanes really won't ever be oiled lightly, because no house actually goes for light oil like that. But that isn't the case if, once again, if you have high revs. But then you could use polyester, I suppose.
The other problem is that between your (medium and heavy) balls, you don't get much of a choice for length. What I mean is, MOST people want more of a midlane ball when they encounter floods, and not many people own skid/snap medium-oil / benchmark balls. MOST people have a strong/smooth arc medium-oil ball. I can see a different situation if your medium oil ball is a polished Black Widow or Radical Inferno (but this is a Storm post) and I just don't see people throwing stuff like that all the time. Once again, I think that the bowler's personal stats have a lot to do with their ball selection, such as RPMs.

Thanks for all the feedback. I was leaving the spare ball out of it. That would then make it a four ball setup. I have a special agent coming. Just need to fill in from there. Thanks again for all the input.

How about:
- Odyssey
- Passion (light polish)
- Pyro (tame drill)
OK, the Odyssey is a Storm-made Roto. You could wait a month and maybe the new Secret Agent fits the bill.

Since some are mixing and matching Storm and Roto, here is what I am actually going to go with. Not saying this is the best arsenal, but it works great for me.
Special Agent
Mystic
Thunderstruck Solid
+ spare ball for dead straight action.

300900 raised a good point, especially if you're doing a lot of tournaments. Should we assume that we're talking general house shot? 3 balls is usually more than enough (as long as you add a spare ball).
