I punched one of these out last week, so hopefully I'll be able to answer your questions. Storm is correct, it is an earlier revving pearl. With that being said, it creates a reaction that is more of a strong arc off the break point, rather than a skid/snap. The pearl cover promotes length and the earlier revving core creates a strong arc. Being a higher speed bowler with some hand, the earlier revving action helps me from blowing through the break point. This ball is strong, but controllable. For me, the reaction I see is more reminiscent of a pearl particle, rather than a traditional pearl reactive. This ball is very consistent for me and easy to control. The Gravity is very versatile as well. I can open up the lane with it, or I can bump up the speed a hair, and play down and in. There is plenty of back end with this piece. Even with extremely deep inside lines where I keep the ball in the oil, I know this ball will still turn the corner. Just in the few nights in league I have thrown it, I have had several people comment on its strength in the back end. Once this ball turns the corner, it keeps going. So far I am quite impressed with it and can see some good scores being posted with this ball.
