Ok I already have a Tropical Storm but I don't really care for it and I was going to see if getting a Hot Rod Hybrid would be better. Look at the photos of the balls I currently use, they are a V2 Strong/R, Tropical Storm and a Doom Raw Hammer. Look at the way I have them drilled. I rev pretty good. I throw the ball somewhere around 15 mph. Let me know if you need any more info.

I have a Hybrid, and i know 4 other that has one. One of them is a cranker that also has a Tropical. I think he likes the Hybrid better, since he uses it more. Both are drilled pretty weak so he can use them on lighter oil.

I am looking for a ball for lighter conditions and the Tropical Storm was drilled for weak condtions but for some reason it curves more than my V2 Strong/R. Someone is trying to trade a Hybrid and I am trying to trade for it because I think it would be a better fit for the way I throw it.

Apple pie? That's weird lol. I bet it can't be better than the Black Cherry Tropical Storm though. No bowling ball smells as good as that Tropical Storm.

I'm not sure if you've gotten a serious answer yet to this question - but I will stick my two cents in with a comparison -

Tropical goes very long -but when it turns it turns and hits pretty hard.  People I've seen matched up good with this ball usually have a reasonable amount of hand and they are using it on medium-light oil.

HR Hybrid is a very smooth reactive ball.  It also gets some length but in general it turns a bit earlier than a Tropical.  The big diffrerence is that the HR Hybrid is not a snappy when it makes it's turn.  For me the Hybrid is much better lighter (stress lighter - not burnt) ball as it seems to be more controllable off the break point.

I haven't heard much about the HRH but I was thinking real hard about the Tropical Storm since I typically play on Medium-Light Synthetics and have trouble keeping the ball to the right of the headpin.  My pro shop guy though told me it hits soft and girly.  Therefore I got the Storm Recharge instead.
