Im just curious who's played this 41' Pattern and how they attacked it in the past.  Will be going up against it on Friday.

I bowled on Montreal on fairly new synthetics and wished I had a strong Asymmetric with me when I did.  Montreal, while not the longest, is the highest volume WTBA pattern.  For me, it played pretty slick compared to the other WTBA mid-length patterns.

Pin down zero gravity
Pin up iq tour nano

Unless they changed things from when I bowled on them, 3 patterns (Tokyo, Seoul, and Los Angeles) had more volume than Montreal.

I used a Wicked Siege and a polished Nuts Pearl from fairly deep inside with pretty good results.

depending on your game and lane topography. you should be able to start with the tour solid playing pretty straight up the track 5-7 board. if needed you can ball up to the nano or zero gravity depending on the shape youre looking for. and you have the endless at the top if you cant get anything to wiggle.  the tour  pearl and marvel pearl will be good on the transition. remember to take what the lane gives you instead of trying to force play an area of the lane

Montreal - 27.55ml
Tokyo - 26.2ml
Los Angeles - 26.1ml
Seoul - 25.1ml

How long ago did you bowl on the patterns?

I bowled on them in 2011/2012.  Apparently they have changed quite a bit.  Montreal used to be 23.9 mL and the highest was Los Angeles at 25.5.

I bowled the Western Canadian Open 3 years ago in Edmonton on 1yr old prolane  and Montreal was damn slick.  I had a Lethal Revolver sanded down and played straight up 4 board to make the finals.
I recall everybody using surface and the guys that scored were never left of 12 at the arrows and pretty closed with their angles.  Bring your strong, early rolling stuff.

I used a mastermind with a control drilling and 2000 surface straight up 8 last time I bowled on it.
